Welcome to Part 2 of ‘Why we created a Website’ if you missed the first part click here for – Part 1. The new website will give us the control to create our own content on our own terms in a market that is lacking quality where no one is really covering it the way it should be. This is a great opportunity become the leader in the field and another channel to strengthen our brand and business.

We wanted it to be like Apple iTunes meets Pattaya Bar Girls.

Ultimately, if we don’t do what fb wants our Digital Mints page will receive a ban and eventually be shut down. It’s already being shadow banned and suppressed by fb as it is so in a way it’s already done with. If we try posting again after the dust settles as we have done so in the past we’ll just continue to repeat this circle of frustration. We’re at the point where we can’t even post a photo of a cute kitten playing with a ball of string.

We took the time to figure out what was going on and this is what we discovered… we were being targeted and as most of our followers know this is not the first time it’s happened to us. For that we can thank keyboard warriors, jealous competitors being bars and other photographers that have caused the PC Police at facebook to absolutely destroy our reach and the ability for us to grow our Digital Mints brand through social media. Who ever was responsible – we honestly wanted to let you know that you did an awesome job at it – Congrats.

How do we know this you may ask?

We don’t mind admitting the truth. Well, this is a small town with a close knit group of people who work in the industry including bar owners, so when people yap too much things come out. We’ve seen the messages and had sources inform us directly. We’re not the type to sit back, cry or submit, we just keep moving forward this is how one fights back. We leave the gossip and drama to be left amongst those who think they’re being clever. But anyone with a sense of business decorum or the basic ability to evaluate another person’s character knows that the ones who talk too much and constantly berate others behind one’s back are the problem.

They know who they are 😉 There are some reading this post right now.

We took serious consideration when designing the site to be able to complement a wide environment of devices. We needed our site to be easy to navigate and most of all user friendly with sexy, moder look to it.

One of the most important features of our site that we really had to focus on was the functionality of the Galleries. We feel we nailed it with this one.

As mentioned we’ve been down this road before over the past year and a half. We’ve been through this fb issue 3 times already and it’s always extremely taxing to come out of and start over. During our last days of posting in September we had been reported two to three times daily and facebook advised us to remove nearly all of our photos if we wanted to remain published. (we did not comply but we did stop posting). We were being flagged with violations against the fb community standards and guidelines that were ‘harmful to other facebook users’, these are their exact words. We were tagged as being sexually explicit, showing nudity, everything that our photos are not. We are too sexy for Facebook! We also never showed nudity.

We’re sure that the people doing these reports would take great pleasure in seeing Digital Mints taken down from Facebook. When we started Digital Mints we approached and presented our photography with fresh new ideas and a quality no one thought they would ever see in Pattaya. Digital Mints came onto the scene strong and we grew fast.

Our background originates in brand development and media marketing. We have the experience, knowledge and professionalism working with corporate and global brands, successful entrepreneurs and professionals in their respective industries. This is what we wanted to bring to Pattaya but we all know how hard it is to change old soi dog habits to a new way of thinking. We haven’t thrown in the towel on this novel idea because we’re still here and there are people of both the old and the new generation that see how things are evolving into a smarter, sharper way of promotions and methods of attracting customers.

Don’t believe us just look at how many venues attempt to copy our branding. They all follow our lead. Don’t believe us again, well these copycats are the same b team players that try to go after and undercut us, our clients show us the messages. It’s really that simple how stupid they are. Many of our base also know we were the first ones from Pattaya to have our work published in Playboy Thailand. We have a blog post you can read to find out how it all happened and where to find the photos.

The mother of all Facebook Violations that practically bombarded us in one day. Whoever was responsible for this can now sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Your envy and jealousy helped inspire us to create our new site. How do you feel now stupid 😉

Now just for comparison’s sake here are some interesting stats we’d like to share about our peak metrics performance levels. Now we must point out that this was leading up to and after our Playboy Thailand publishing. We hit a rate of engagement that was al organic with NO AD BUYS, paid BOOSTING or fake likes; getting 600 to 1.3k likes with 80 – 100 comments per-post.

That was awesome!

Then we got accepted by PLAYBOY Thailand and you’d think this would benefit the girls, the bars and Pattaya but no instead it made us hated and a target. This is when it all changed, the violations hit and we couldn’t get around it everything came to a halt. We got too much attention too fast. We were doing very well but regrettably there are people who don’t like to see others succeed. So you can now understand why we are now taking the steps to have our own Website.

If you want a for sure way to upset your competition just work harder than them and produce quality work to the point that they just can’t keep up with you. It works all the time.

We know Digital Mints produces some of the best photos of the best and most stylistic photos coming out of Pattaya City and we always felt great thanking our Followers and Subscribers for helping us beat the Facebook algorithm. Truly, without them and some of the crazy comments our Facebook page would be pretty bland. We love interacting with EVERYONE on our page.
We used to smash the 400 - 500 Like's and get upwards of 80+ comments on a photo with no Boosting... but it appears Facebook is constantly suppressing our page... these are our last 4 posts Its okay, we will stick around to upset those jealous fans who constantly report our page to FB HQ BKK. We know who you are. Haters are nothing but silent subscribers.
If you’re not pissing someone off, you probably aren’t doing anything important

Can you imagine in under 2 years of photographing some of the most beautiful girls in Pattaya and Bangkok City, Digital Mints managed to get our photos featured in PLAYBOY Thailand. To be featured with the PLAYBOY brand especially in Thailand is a very complementary acknowledgement. It enhances the venue’s name, their business and again the girls and more importantly it gave some recognition to Pattaya – but boy did the local drama go into overdrive.

We want our photos and videos to be accessible to everyone who enjoys our unique style of photography that is the Digital Mints brand including our loyal fans who’ve been following us since we first launched. Our mistake was to rely too much on social media or in this case fakebook. They have too much control over what we post and in their own words and violation notices we are ‘Too sexy for Facebook’.

With the forced locked down and thinking of a new way to adapt to the current market and staying relevant this forced us back to the drawing board and we concluded that we had to strengthen and create a dominant website.  It was the only way to keep others from controlling how we create and shoot our media.

So now you know the full story of what has transpired since we have been away. We hope you will continue to be part of this Digital Mints journey and continue by following more of our website content.

We believe websites are going to be playing a very big role in the future for online businesses. People became to dependent on social media platforms.

Its back to basics folks.
